Abstract
Background/Purpose: An average person spends almost a third of his life at work. It is therefore very important that the person is satisfied with their job.We could define job satisfaction as a factor with an important influence on increased quality in both professional and private life. The dissatisfaction of employees with their jobs is usually followed by fluctuation. This can be very damaging to an organization since employees are one of the most important resources. This article presents the results of various surveys on the satisfaction of police officers and detectives with their work, on fluctuation as a phenomenon and some of the reasons for it. In the empirical part of this article, the authors present a study done among the economic crime detectives working in the police directorates of Ljubljana and Maribor. The study showed that economic crime detectives are somewhat satisfied with their work but are still willing to change their jobs and leave the police for a better salary. The main factor for dissatisfaction is the low pay for their performance.

Abstract
Background/Purpose: This study investigates the relationships between market orientation, innovation resources, reputational resources, customer related capabilities and distribution-based assets, as well as their impact on both market and financial performance. The results indicate that market orientation is indirectly related to a company’s market and financial performance through the four other marketing resources. Reputational resources have a positive impact on loyalty, market share and sales volume, while the impact of innovation resources on the market share and sales volume is more indirect and through customer loyalty. While customer-related capabilities significantly impact customer loyalty, their impact on the market share and sales volume can not be confirmed. On the other hand, the distribution-based assets are only weakly related to loyalty, the market share and the sales volume. The general findings indicate that selected marketing resources impact financial performance indirectly through the creation of customer loyalty and directly through the market share and sales volume.

Abstract
Background/Purpose: It is well known that the organizational structure of the Slovenian tourism industry is changing. Tourist companies are merging, but unfortunately only a few companies empowered their capital structure and market position, so in a way we can talk about an oligopoly. The situation does not favor rural and rural fringe areas, where an underdeveloped tourism economy cannot represent a solid source of income for many tourist farms and other tourist companies. Integration is a scientifically and professionally proven method for empowering businesses. Integrative destination management, which provides the tool for tourist destinations development, aims at sustainable tourism where the community collectively develops and runs the tourism economy. This paper examines the possibilities for the development of business integration as a basis for the successful implementation of destination management in the Mislinja Valley. A survey has been conducted, where two thirds of the tourist companies in the area were investigated in relation to the destination management and tourism opportunities in the area. Analysis shows that the business environment accepts the idea of integration as a tool for empowering the regional tourism industry, however only interest integration appeares to be acceptable at this time.

Abstract
Background/Purpose: The Slovene public administration is part of the broader social system, therefore it must be responsive and proactive. The instrument of complaint in the administrative procedure, and wider in the context of the entire administrative management, is very helpful to public administration for tracking social changes and should therefore be seen as a form of constructive criticism. On the basis of user complaints regarding its services or the parties to the administrative procedure, the public administration must learn permanently and, as learning organisation, must incorporate its findings into future practice. The starting point of this contribution is the problems of the complaint in the narrow sense – customer dissatisfaction with the functioning of the public administration or arising from the fact that one of the characteristics of the administrative procedure or other services is the direct contact between the customer and the provider of the service. With this approach, the public administration will develop part of an integral system of quality and excellence that underlines the meaning of satisfaction of (all) the users of public services.

Abstract
Background/Purpose: A lot of Slovenian companies decided to implement enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions in the past several years. Published articles on theme ERP implementation had shown that some critical success factors (CSF) of such implementation have significant influence on successfulness of implementation of ERP solutions. These factors are: top management support and involvement, clear goals, objectives and scope, project team competence and organization, user training and education, business process reengineering, change management, effective communication, user involvement, data analysis and conversion, consultants, project management, project champion, architecture choice (package selection) and minimal customization and some less important factors. To research the importance of ERP implementation CSF in Slovenian companies which had implemented SAP R/3 or mySAP ERP, Microsoft Navision and GEAC System, an empirical study in 206 Slovenian companies has been conducted. Our research has verified more hypotheses, which we were set up on the bases of preliminary research. In this article we are going to focus on three hypotheses, which were verified. On the basis of research we can confirm our hypothesis: there are no differences of ranking ERP implementation CSF between Slovenia and abroad, there are groups of relations ERP implementation CSF where inside them are no bigger statistical differences and that there are links between ERP implementation CSF.

Abstract
Background/Purpose: Outsourcing can be an extremely important strategic decision – for both insourcing and outsourcing companies. It is of utmost importance for any organisation to thoroughly study and analyse possible outcomes, risks and opportunities that outsourcing is likely to bring. Management should not only focus on short-term benefits, but should concentrate on long-term consequences of outsourcing, especially in the light of efficiency and effectiveness of business operations. Our research confirms shortterm, especially financial, benefits of outsourcing. On the other hand, outsourcing can conceal reasons for company’s poor business operations, bad reputation or failure to succeed. These are likely to appear later and can nullify the short term benefits of outsourcing. The research findings represent a suitable starting point for a critical study of benefits of temporally limited outsourcing, both from the point of view of outsourcers and insourcers. The analysis of a sample of Slovenian companies shows that some important issues related to outsourcing should be thoroughly studied before an outsourcing agreement has been signed in order to limit the consequences of unexpected termination of outsourcing relationships.

By studying the factors of career development (planning) we wanted to define their influence on career development of nurses and midwives.A survey in the form of a questionaire proved to be the most appropriate way of examining the impact which the career development factors have on nurses and midwives. Above all it is necessary to point out the inadequate organisation of personnel work and inefficient method of identifying the needs for career development of each individual nurse and midwife. First SPS Gynaecological Hospital will have to reorganise the personnel department in order to deal with the above mentioned problems. The task of the personnel department will not only be to do administrative work, as it has been so far, but also to be responsible for career planning or developing. On the base of built model we could say that annual discussions are the most suitable way of identifying the needs for career planning of each individual nurse or midwife

Abstract
Background/Purpose: The question of quality in study proces is key factor of efficancy and efficiency in higer education institute. If we want to impact the qulaity, we have to reasearch, measure, compare and enlarge it. In our reasearch we were finding general perception of study quality and students satisfaction with the study at Faculty of organisational sciences University in Maribor. The reasearch indicates that the profile of student of Faculty of organisationalsciences in encuraging for the future and emloyment. Students present business orientation, which is extra important for organizer profession. Students satisfaction with faculty is good, though some indicators show some lack, for example, professors beside implementation of basic pedagogical obligations offer students only few goods. The reasearch displayed high rate of apathy of students for international exchange. Creativity, adventoury and risk are sinking between comfortable walls of home kitchen and the nearest pub. That puts us down to blame rather good ease and benefits, which students have and on the other side to bad employment possibilities and high expenses for economical independence of young people.

Abstract
Background/Purpose: Assessing work efficiency tends to motivate the best employees only. Financial result of the hard work is stated by the headmaster in the form of a pay rise. The system recompenses those only who are successful but at the same time we do not stimulate the less successful teachers by reducing their monthly payment. In educational institutions it is the headmasters who assess the work efficiency of the teachers. They perform the human resource function and it is up to them whether they will get extra knowledge to be able to perform this duty. Basic criteria are set by the rule book which again is adopted by the headmasters. The thesis presents criteria which will serve the headmasters better as the previous ones in order to recompensate the teachers who try their best. The criteria will be prepared through a questionnaire and its analysis with the co-operation of a large number of teachers
