Some of the Aspects of Leadership and their Impact on Organizational Climate and Satisfaction of the Employees in Slovenian Police
Abstract
The article, based on the research carried out on the group of 561 employees, deals with some of the aspects of leadership in Slovenian police and their impact on organizational climate and satisfaction of the employees. The article discovers that leadership importantly affects the organisational climate and satisfaction of the employees in Slovenian police. Leaders with much more power at their disposal are more active and are using democratic style of leadership and thus creating better organizational climate and higher degree of satisfaction of the employees in the police units.The article also presents results of measuring of eleven dimensions of organizational climate and satisfaction of the employees with the aspects of work on which these dimensions are relating to.
