Abstract

A model for the quality assessment system of electronic learning material is being developed by the group of experts at the National Education Institute of the Republic of Slovenia. The presented model is an important contribution to the improvement of the modern learning and educational processes. The standardization concepts and the specifics of the learning material are considered in the scope of the quality assessment procedure. The presented model defines the electronic learning material classification, its description and the criteria for its assessment. The steps for collection of e-learning material linked with the phases of assessment procedure are proposed in the paper. In order to round up the topic the presented model is tied to the national strategy of e-learning which is currently going trough the phase of public hearing.
